Ihtiman airfield has an area of more than 92,000 sq. m. and a freshly redone base – total renovation of the buildings, newly resurfaced runway and taxi ways, new gas station, upgraded drop zone and improvements of the remaining assets. We have the necessary modern equipment to allow fast and convenient receipt of aviation information for organising flights.
No matter what your flying experience and interest, we offer you excellent conditions, technical conformity, safety and comfort for your activities.
Everyone is welcome – qualified pilots, fun jumpers or just aviation enthusiasts.

Closer than you think, faster than you imagine. The airfield is at a strategic location – 50km east of the capital Sofia and 100km away from Plovdiv, Highway A1 Trakia is a quick and short drive away. We are part of the territory of Ihtiman municipality, 5km south west of the Center of the town, in the vicinity of Chernyovo village. The railway from Sofia – Plovdiv also passes very nearby.
